ShipBackHome is a platform that connects customers with independent cargo shippers. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean ShipBackHome. When we say "you," we mean anyone who visits or uses ShipBackHome.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, shipping addresses, and payment information when you create an account or make a booking. If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and preferred destination. We also collect usage data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken on the platform, via cookies and similar technologies.
We use your information to operate the platform, process and manage bookings, send you booking confirmations and shipment updates, communicate with you about your account, ensure platform safety and fraud prevention, and improve our services. We do not use your data for automated profiling or sell it for advertising.
When you book a shipment, we share your contact and shipment details with the Shipper you selected so they can fulfill your booking. Waitlist email addresses are used solely to notify you when shippers become available for your destination and are never shared with third parties. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., payment processors, email delivery services) under strict confidentiality obligations.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@shipbackhome.com.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure data storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ShipBackHome is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@shipbackhome.com and we will delete it.
