These Terms of Service govern your use of ShipBackHome. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
By accessing or using ShipBackHome, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
ShipBackHome is a two-sided platform. For shippers, it provides booking management, invoicing, payment processing, and customer management tools. For customers, it provides a directory to discover, compare, and book independent barrel and container shipping operators. ShipBackHome does not itself provide shipping services.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform.
ShipBackHome acts solely as an intermediary technology platform. All shipping services are provided by independent third-party operators ("Shippers"). ShipBackHome is not a party to any agreement between customers and shippers and assumes no responsibility for the acts or omissions of any shipper.
All prices listed are starting estimates. Final pricing is determined by the individual Shipper after inspection of the items to be shipped. ShipBackHome charges a platform fee on completed transactions, which is disclosed at time of booking. Prices are subject to change.
Shippers listed on ShipBackHome are independent operators solely responsible for the safe handling, transport, timely delivery, and legal compliance of all goods they accept. ShipBackHome does not guarantee the performance of any shipper.
Customers must ensure that all items submitted for shipping comply with all applicable export, import, and customs laws. Prohibited items must not be shipped. Customers are responsible for accurate declaration of goods and for paying all applicable duties and taxes.
You may not ship illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, hazardous materials, perishables that require temperature control, or any items prohibited by U.S. or destination-country law. Shippers reserve the right to refuse any shipment.
ShipBackHome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any shipping services. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the platform fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the effective date at the top of this page.

By requesting a booking through ShipBackHome, you expressly consent to receive transactional emails and/or text messages (SMS) from ShipBackHome and your selected shipper regarding your shipment. These communications may include booking confirmations, payment requests, pickup notifications, shipment status updates, and delivery confirmations. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@shipbackhome.com. Opting out of transactional messages may affect your ability to receive important updates about your shipment.
